  I met Jared Price a couple of years ago, he started out making a few Fixed blade knives and then went on to create unqiue Friction Folders that are still very popular.  

  Last year he accelerated into Linerlock folders and then Framelock folders. His popularity has skyrocketed, he no longer accepts Orders so this is your chance to get one of his knives.

Just Received ~ Direct from the Maker 

This is a new Robust Framelock Folder from Jared ~ the Shoebill 

 I was fortunate enough to help Jared name this model last year, we decided on the Shoebill which is a large predatory bird that likes to hunt the dark, murky waters of East Africa, where only the strong survive. A very tough bird to say the least.

 This model is thicker than most and has a unique blade grind that will tackle any chore with ease. The Front Orange G-10 scale has a unique Cross Hatched Traction pattern that makes the knife feel very secure in the hand.  The tough G-10 scale is supported by a Thick Titanium Liner underneath for superior strength.

The Blade was Hand Ground from 1095 High Carbon Steel and Jared has given it an incredible Hamon ~ a visible feature of the Expert Heat Treat of the blade.   Jared makes very few each year with a Hamon on the blade as the process is so time consuming. 

The smooth action, early tight lock up and overall strength of this knife is awesome! 

Custom Thumb Ridges on the spine of the Thick Blade further enhances the reliable hand filling grip. 

The Thick Titanium Frame and Clip have been Blasted and Tumbled for the ultimate Surface protection.
