Brian Tighe has been on the “cutting edge” of custom folding knives for more than a decade. One of his newest offerings is a Button-Lock Tighe Rade Flipper!
This is a full sized folder yet it is extremely light due to the all Titanium Construction and slim design. The ergonomics are great! The Ti frame has some beautiful custom sculpting in the center to enhance the grip. This one also has a secret, the Interior of the Frame is Anodized.
This is one of the first Tighe Rades to have a Mirror Polished finish on the Duplex Ground BG-42 steel blade (my favorite blade steel). The blade flips open with ease, a super smooth action due to Brian’s Needle Thrust Bearing system.
The Button Lock is an extremely secure Locking mechanism but it is difficult to do correctly, it releases very smoothly, incredible action all the way around.
Complete with a very deep / discreet carry Titanium pocket clip.
