There are lots of standard models in the Dozier line up and each have aspects in commom, ie. Full Tang, Handle shape, etc.  And of course if you want something truly unique from Bob, he hand crafts a line that are cousins to the Traditional Loveless drop point with only the best handle materials, elegantly tapered, highly polished, wonderful to hold and behold and start at about $950.  

   This particular model represents the true Mid-line Custom of what Bob produces ~ I have only had a few of this Model in the last 10 years! 

Bob is of course world renowned for his Proprietary Heat Treatment formula that brings out the best in D2 Steel, thus he earned the moniker “The Dr. of D2” ~ this particular Blade measures .175 Thick, has a Very High Hollow Grind and dramatic Drop Point profile.  

plus a very Rare feature on a Dozier now days, a Tapered Tang to reduce the weight.  Also, the handles of this special Model have a Integrated Black G-10 Line inside the Material (I have never seen this material on any other Dozier). 

Extremely comfortable Handle design with a Modified Birds Beak Butt, Deep Forward Finger guard and complimentary Brass Blind Bolts and Brass Lined Thong Hole.
