Vero Machine Industries is a company in Vero Beach Florida that was tasked with making parts for Microtech in the 90’s. Some leftover Mini UDT parts were purchased by Anthony Marfione of Heretic Knives during their liquidation sale and Anthony then Hand Ground some blades to fit these vintage handles.
This is the VB-100 ~ Mini UDT Automatic ~ this particular example has a Black Aluminum Frame with non-slip inserts and a Stonewashed Blade.
The Mini UDT is a very versatile knife. Depressing the Button (which also serves as the Lock) the Blade flies open with incredible speed.
The Button Lock is an extremely secure Locking mechanism but it is difficult to do correctly, this one releases very smoothly, incredible action all the way around.
The Aluminum frame has Ventilation Holes in the center and is just large enough for a Three Finger Grip with the included Lanyard taking up space under the Pinkie.
A Great EDC that will ride discreetly inside your pocket until you need it.
