This fine knife is one of Thad’s Loveless style offerings, the popular New York Special.   It is a fine example of superb craftsmanship in every detail.  My poor pictures do not do this knife justice, the beautiful mirror polish played havoc with my camera.

The wonderful aged Amber Sambar Stag handles have tons of gnarly character and deep rich color.  They match very well.  Stag of this quality is completely gone from today’s handle material market.  

The Stainless bolsters have a hand applied fine Satin Finish while the double ground CPM 154 blade has a flawless mirror polish.  The guard is soldered and the Tang has a steel taper making the knife feel great in the hand.

Included is the original Loveless style Snap sheath.  Bob came up with the idea of inserting the female part of the Snap close into the handle of the knife (as seen above) so when the knife is inserted into the back pocket sheath it snaps into place (because the Male part of the snap is on the inside of the sheath flap). 

The sheath is Signed on the Reverse by Thad.
