Here is a knife that embodies the true spirit of a Bushcraft knife, a Traditional Scandinavian styled blade called a Puukko
This knife was Hand Forged from thick 52100 High Carbon Steel. The blade has a Convex Bevel that ends in a Razor Sharp Zero Edge. No true Bushie would carry anything but Carbon Steel so this is a perfect and historically accurate package.
The Blade starts with a Robust Thickness of .200 at the Spine, it has a Slight Distal Taper and a Custom Swedge.
The Artistic Three Piece handle was Shaped by Hand from African Blackwood with a middle section of Wild Olive Wood Burl with Brass Spacers on each side. The handle is extremely well contoured for a Comfortable Full Grip.
If you enjoy Traditional or Indigenous blades then you will surely treasure this package.
The Leather Sheath was Wet Molded to the knife. A protective Wooden Insert inside the leather sheath creates a snug fit for the knife and prevents the sharp edge of the blade from penetrating the leather.
The Leather Swinger Loop attaches through the back of the Sheath where the Holes have Copper Reinforced Grommets.
The Dangler attachment for the sheath keeps the knife out of the way when sitting or riding in a truck.
Complete with a COA from the Southern Africa Knifemakers Guild
Just an absolutely great all around knife for Hunting, Bushcraft or every day carry or general woods use!
