Product Description

           MIKE MANN

Winner of the Best Primitive Knife several times at Professional Knifemaker Shows in Denver. His work has been featured in Tactical Knives, Backwoodsman, Blade, Knives Illustrated, Guns of the Old West, Muzzle Blast Magazines along with several other publications. His years of experience as an outdoorsman and appreciation for our historical past guide his artistic expression in the functional knives he builds.

The shape of this particular knife is well known and bears the name of the man who most call Nessmuk.  Born George Washington Sears in 1821, he lived with Nipmuc Indians and learned skills of wilderness living. Later he would write and share his knowledge about how to survive in the great outdoors under the pen name Nessmuk.

Each of Mike’s knives is forged to shape of 1095 High Carbon steel, leaving the spine 1/8"+ thick.  The Weathered Walnut handle shows nice deep color and is contoured very nicely. A small Lanyard hole in the handle would make a nice Leather lanyard a plus for this knife.

A thick Tacked Period style Leather sheath will hold this knife and make it ready to ride on the range or just on your belt.
