Description

Lloyd Pendleton

Even though I see hundreds of knives each year, occasionally I am still tempted to keep a knife that I have purchased because I am so enthralled with the blade or simply because I know it would be extremely hard to replace.  This is one of those knives.

This is a gorgeous Skinner by legendary maker Lloyd Pendleton.  Lloyd sold his first knife in 1973.   His work was a staple in the Knives Annuals from the very beginning.  Lloyd has crafted every kind of fixed blade from Boot Knives to Hunters and Skinners but all have his distinctive look about them.  Lloyd’s signature style and designs were used by a well known production company in 2010 and those knives won Field N Stream’s Best of the Best award for that year.

This is an immaculate large Hunter with some amazing Trophy Big Horn sheep handles

Deeply Tapered Tang with Red Liners and the signature Pendleton Stainless divoted Bolsters. The Bolsters are so well fit they appear to be integral with the blade.

Generous handle length provides a wonderfully comfortable grip.  Internal Lanyard ring.

Also, Lloyd crafts his own thick Leather belt sheaths for his knives, all stamped with his Volcano, CA logo.

This is a preowned knife in MINT condition, never used, carried or sharpened.
