A couple of years ago when Lion Steel introduced their M2 Fixed Blade I purchased one for myself and I loved it ~ I still have it! To round out their Fixed Blade line they have added a larger version ~ a Robust New Model called the
M5
This is an excellent Multi Purpose Full Tang / Full Sized Hunter with some upscale features normally only found on high end Custom hunters. This model has upscale 3D Milled Stabilized Santos Wood handle scales with both Linear and Perimeter Traction Grooves to improve the grip.
The Sleipner Tool Steel blade is a Robust 3/16′” Thick and has a Beautiful High Satin finish. Sleipner Tool Steel blends the best Properties of both A2 and D2 while still maintaining a Stainless Steel classification. Precision Heat Treatment leaves the blade at 61 – 62 Rc – this makes for one of the toughest blades available.
A stout knife with an excellent design. The Thumb Ramp on the spine and the excellent ergonomics of the handle make this knife a joy to hold.
This is a knife that will handle any daily cutting chore with ease and would tackle any Camp Chore with gusto. A Wide Blade design that is precision made to last a lifetime.
The knife also comes with a Premium Leather RH Belt Sheath and a FREE Leather Thong attached.
The Sheath has been Stitched and has a generous Belt Loop.
