Here is an excellent EDC Sized Hunter from Herb that has some Beautiful and Unique Handle material.
Herb’s Bird’s Eye Damascus has over 2,500 layers. With an almost perfectly Straight Spine this great looking knife will perform as good as it looks.
It has a unique Fileworked spine that also doubles as Thumb Ridges.
The handle is made from Fossilized Stellar Sea Cow Rib bone. Herb has worked with the natural shape of the Fossil to narrow the handle near the Finger Guard but leave it plenty thick at the butt, very hand filling and comfortable. The Rib Bone has beautiful natural colors and intricate grain.
This knife also has a Subtle Double Guard ~ the Top has a Thumb Indentation in the Sterling Guard.
The Rib Bone handle is flanked by a Nickel Silver Spacer and a gorgeous Stabilized Spalted Maple spacer for color.
The Leather sheath has an Ostrich Leg Skin inlay and Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. The Sheath has a nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
