Description

Harry Morseth

Here is a knife that really needs no introduction.

A gorgeous Morseth Modified Bowie with one piece Sambar Stag handle.  This one was made about 1955-1957 and is in almost pristine Mint condition.  Note the narrow bevel, the later knives of the 1960’s had larger false edge and a wider bevel.

The blade is correctly stamped on one side with BRUSLETTO  Geilo – Made In Norway and the opposite side is Stamped with MORSETH parallel to the Guard.

Eleven spacers of Black Fiber, Aluminum and Red Fiber behind the Contoured Brass finger guard, Brass Screw in the butt.

This knife is almost identical to the one pictured in James R. Beall’s new book about Harry and Morseth knives entitled:  The Keen Edge of Perfection  If you have the book please refer to page 80.  If you do not have the book you are really missing out on a wonderful read that is absolutely full of amazing color pictures and important info about Harry and his knives.

No Sheath with this knife.
