I grew up in the rugged Appalachian mountains, where I learned to fish, farm, and hunt — skills that taught me the value of a good knife early on. As a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, I carry those same values of discipline and integrity into everything I do.

My passion for knives began in the early 1990s when I purchased my first custom fixed blade. By 1999, I was a part-time knife dealer, and for more than two decades I’ve been buying, selling, and trading custom knives. With thousands of successful transactions, I’ve worked hard to build and maintain a trusted reputation within the knife community.

As an avid outdoorsman, I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, and competitive marksmanship. I’m also a student of knife history and the makers who shaped the custom knife industry. From time to time, I write and publish articles on knives and makers that inspire me. While I’m a reluctant knife maker myself, I’ve been fortunate to spend time in the shops of respected craftsmen — experiences that deepened my appreciation for the skill, effort, and artistry required to create a quality blade.

I’m passionate about this business, but I believe in quality over quantity. I only represent knives that are exceptionally well made and crafted by makers I know and trust. You won’t find every name in the industry here — only those who embody honesty, craftsmanship, and excellence.
