CORRIE SCHOEMAN
I was lucky enough to meet Corrie at the NYCKS in 2011. I had been aware of his work for many years as he had been featured in the KNIVES Annuals several times and his work is very popular at the Art Knife Shows throughout the US. When he introduced me to his work his precision fit and finish astounded me, however the pricing for such high Quality knives with rare and exotic materials I found phenomenal.

~ Direct from the Maker ~
Corries was approached in 2012 by the World Famous Shotgun Maker “Holland & Holland” with a request for him to produce a limited number of knives that would be offered with one of their Shotguns. This Model is what Corrie made for them (in a different configuration).
This is a very elegant and Ergonomically designed Gentleman’s custom Flipper that Corrie now calls his
Holland & Holland Model
NOTE the very unobtrusive Flipper Tab in the above photo, though small this Tab effortlessly deploys the blade quickly and easily. The blade was Hand Ground from Alabama Forge Carbon Damascus.
The Beautiful handle Scales are Marble Carbon Fiber with a Twist “Nisi” Wire Inlay
The Liner Lock is early and very secure. The Backside of the Flipper Tab shows the Traction Grooves. Corrie gave the Liner some Custom Filework all the way around the Knife.
The THick Titanium Backspacer also has Elegant Filework and an attractive Abalone Shell Inlay has been inset into the upper section.
