Zubeng Forge uses an Ancient formula to create true Tamahagane steel for their swords and knives. Making Tamahagane steel is a long and labor intesive process which starts with select Iron Sand and other Natural materials that are found in only a few places in the world.
This is a Full Convex blade hunting knife, hand crafted from the same hand made Tamahagane steel as Ancient Chinese swords. A beautiful Hamon defines the harder cutting edge from the Softer spine and is clearly visible in all true Tamahagane pieces.
The Beautiful tight grained Stabilized Curly Maple handle is nicely contoured and really catches the light when seen up close, the Mosaic pins simply add eye appeal. (There is a bit of Oil on the blade in the pics, this will wipe off and leave a perfect finish)
This knife comes complete with a thick RH Vertical leather belt sheath and Hand Signed Certificate of Authenticity.
