This is Michael Zieba’s Hunter / Woodscraft knife – a Limited Edition (now Discontinued) design with only 10 pieces total made, this is the Master Woodsman in Crucible Particle Metallurgy S60V!
The Flat Ground Blade was Hand Ground from Robust 5/32 nds CPM S60V that has a Two Tone finish. The Flats have the Original Mill Scale left on them and the Bevels have a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed Finish.
This is a tough Full Tang Hunter with a Custom Contoured Handle scales of layered Orange and Black G-10.
The handle is streamlined and has a Birds Beak Butt shape to help keep the handle firmly in your palm. The Handle Scales were cut from the same block so they match perfectly.
A Late Distal Taper at the tip will allow for Finer Cutting work or assistance in puncture. Each knife in the Series is different, and each is Serial Numbered with this particular example being (number 8 out of 10).
Michael Zieba is a perfectionist and crafted each part of this knife with care and precision.
This knife comes complete in a Custom Fitted Kydex Sheath with a Large Tek-Lok already attached.
