This is Travis’ Spectre ~ a powerful Tactical folder, precision crafted with a thick Titanium Frame that incorporates Hand Filling Contours.
The Titanium Frame has a Stonewashed finish and deep Forward and Aft Finger grooves for a very secure, Hand Filling Grip.
The Thick Blade has a Dual Custom Finish, the Flats have a Time Consuming Hand Rubbed finish and the Bevels have a Machine Satin for Maximum wear resistance.
The blade opens very smoothly due to the internal GTC Bearing System and the excellent Blade Balance. Simply insert your Thumb into the Large end of the Modified Triangle shaped hole and as the blade opens, your thumb automatically re-indexes itself within the hole.
Travis uses No CNC or Computer Milling in making his knives. All Profiling and Blade Grinding are done Free Hand!
The Spine of the thick AEB-L blade has subtle Thumb Ridges as well as Rear Traction Ridges that continue into the Frame.
The knife is held together with torx Screws and has a Thick Custom Titanium backspacer that adds strength to the design without adding extra weight.
The supremely Thick Frame Lock engages early and securely ~ strong enough to handle any situation.
The Deep Set Titanium pocket clip will allow this big knife to ride discreetly in your pocket.
