A Full time Knife Maker since 1997 and a Member of the South African Knifemakers Guild – Theuns crafts beautiful knives often using exotic and visually stunning materials. I am excited to be working with Theuns.

Just Received ~ Direct from the Maker     

This is a beautiful example of Theuns work, a Gentleman’s Linerlock with exotic materials and the unique embellishment that Theuns is known for. There are so many intricate details of this knife, I have strived to show some of them (others will no doubt be discovered by the new owner).

The knife has a Full Titanium Anodized Frame with Theuns’ beautifully simple Bushman Rock Art Engravings, and the Giraffe bone overlay has pierced carving of similar Rock Art. The RH Thumbstud is also Solid Titanium and Anodized to match. The blade is 1080 High Carbon Steel with a Differential Heat Treat / Clay Hardened Hamon.

The action is extremely smooth and the lock up is perfect! 

The frame is Full Anodized Titanium, Fileworked on the rear, Theuns has also Anodized the Titanium Backspacer in several colors and hand sculpted some of his distinctive Rock Art Bushman and Animal figures.  

The detail on these figures is amazing and the pictorals tell a story of ancient South Africa and often show the Animals that the materials came from (you can see the Giraffe in the picture below)     

This is a knife I could photograph for hours and still not fully show all the custom features.

This is a precision Gentleman’s folder with very interesting materials. 

       This knife comes with a Snap Closure Leather Belt sheath.  Also a Color Certificate of Authenticity which details all components is included.
