Here is one of those rare pieces that is part History, part present and all Art.
Mastersmith Rick Dunkerley made this piece several years ago as a special Order, at that time he had not made any Folders with Sambar Stag – this was his first!
This knife was commissioned as a special Gentleman’s “One Off” – Rick Forged the Blade and Bolster material himself – as a matter of fact, the entire piece is Sole Authorship.

This wonderful knife is a piece that I could photograph for hours and still not show all the custom detail.
The Ti Thumb Stud has an incredible Custom Texture as well as subtle Anodizing that is hard to see unless viewed up close. Inset is a Jewelry Grade Tigers Eye semi precious stone.
The Ti Liners are Fully Anodized and have Custom Filework all the way around the perimeter of the knife!
The Lock is very secure and it too even has Custom Filework!
A gorgeous example of superb Craftsmanship!
I do not know if Rick is still taking orders but I suspect his current price for a piece of this Quality and Detail would range much higher than what you can obtain this one for today!
Complete in the original Leather Pouch Sheath.
Previously owned, never used, carried or sharpened.

This knife was the only folder in my dad collection. He collected ABS Master smith hunters. It was a gift from me to him. It lived it’s whole life in his gun safe unless it was on display. He treasured it and passed it back to me after he passed. I hope it finds a good home where it will be equally loved.
