PHIL BOGUSZEWSKI

Fort Henry Custom Knives is proud to have known and worked with the late Phil Boguszewski

This is a Very Rare Solid Titanium Framelock from one of the undisputed Masters of the Craft

Tim Wegner teamed up with Phil to create this design and present it to Spyderco, they eventually built 10 customs, mostly from Hand Cut parts but some machine parts were used also.

This however, was the very first that Phil made ~ all hand made by the Master himself.  Marked “Prototype” and “BG-42” on the Blade.

This knife has the kind of amazingly smooth action that Phil was renowned for on all his knives. Phil never used bearings on his knives, just amazing attention to detail and precision tuning.

The uniquely shaped blade has an impeccable Hand Rubbed finish and is Marked BG-42 (my personal favorite Blade Steel) and has Both Makers Marks.

An Integral Thumb Ramp with Thumb Notches makes for a very secure grip.
