This is Kosie’s simplest knife but like all the blades he creates he has given this one extreme attention to detail ~ this is a great value for a custom Friction Folder

A Friction Folder is the oldest of folding knife designs, ancient Friction Folders have recently been discovered in Rome where they were a standard item for men of wealth and privilege! |
The blade of this friction folder was hand ground from Bohler Uddeholm N690 Stainless steel. It has a very high Hollow Grind, a Distal Taper and enough belly for any small skinning chore. The MK-I Model has a uniquely deeply contoured frame with a comfortable Finger Choil area on the handle.
One of the extreme details that Kosie takes is evident on this blade, he gave the tip a more acute Cutting Edge ~ knowing the straight rear cutting edge would be used for the Lions Share of the tough work and the Tip used for fine work!
Nc690 steel is quickly gaining popularity with American knife Makers, it is a very clean Austrian steel with a nice amount of Chromium to make it nearly maintenance free.
The handles are Black G-10 that have a unique Cross Hatched texture that will keep this knife securely in your hand even under adverse conditions.
Kosie hadded a Stainless Steel liner this year to his Folders, this give the Screws a more reliable purchase than just the G-10 Frame. Very well made and extremely affordable full size pocket or pack knife!
The shape and size of the handle allows for a full secure grip. Kosie also included a Pouch Sheath as well as a Pocket Clip.
