Kamil Dlugosz is a young maker from Opole, Poland. Known for his clean designs and attention to detail, this example of his work showcases his talent.
This Straight Backed Hunter is his Vortex – Note this blade has a Distal Taper which would allow for fine cutting or caping.
The sleek profile reminds one of a fine sportscar. But don’t be fooled by the refined appearance, this is a Tough, Full Tang blade that was made to tackle most any daily cutting chore.
The Handle scales are Custom Contoured, Silver Twill Carbon Fiber with Blue Liners. The Carbon Fiber Handle Scales help the knife to feel very light in the hand. Custom Thumb Ridges on the Spine help the knife to feel very secure, comfortable in either the Forward or Reverse grip.
The Elmax Blade is .160 Thick and has a Tested Rockwell of 61 Rc. Kamil has given the blade a Flawless, Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed finish.
Kamil does excellent work and once this knife is Sold it will be several months before I can get another.
The knife comes with a Secure, Custom Molded Black Kydex sheath ~ ready for a Tek Lock (Not Provided) or other Belt Attachment.
A true top shelf package ~ includes COA, Business Card and Padded Zipper Case.
