Description

JIM BEHRING / TREEMAN KNIVES

This is an Original Forged Alaskan Camp knife from Jim Behring of Treeman knives

This Heavy Duty blade would do equally well at Chopping, skinning or even jointing a large bull Moose ~ Hammer Forged from a thick Antique Studebaker Spring down to a 1/4″ thick  and then given a Differential heat treat, visible Hamon when rotated in the light and the Hammer Marks left on the Flats of the blade.

The generous sized Stacked Leather and Sambar Stag handle has been expertly contoured for a very comfortable grip.  The large forward Spacers are Antique Westinghouse Micarta and each material is separated with either a Stainless, Copper or Brass Spacer. The NS Guard has Silver Solder for a clean seal around the blade.

The Saber Maker’s Mark is visible in the Forged Scale on the Flat.

The thick Sambar Stag Pommel has been hollowed out and a Randall Style Liquid Filled Compass has been inserted.

This big blade is a full 1  7/8″ Wide and has a High Hollow Grind and Razor Sharp Cutting Edge.  Truly a do-it-all Survival / Camp knife!

Comes with a very well made, thick Jack Mosher Leather Belt Sheath and a Padded Zipper Storage case.

Previously owned – Never carried or Sharpened.

A beautiful Scagel Inspired blade in MINT Condition.
