This is Hiroaki’s Remington Bullet pattern with some Wonderful Sambar Stag Scales ~ with the Embargo on the Export of Stag from India over a decade old, this kind of material is long gone from today’s market.
This Custom Slipjoint by Hiroaki is based precisely on the Original Remington Single blade Pattern and it has been crafted with incredible attention to detail.
The knife has a smooth crisp action and a Firm Half Stop. My interpretation of the Action (with a 5 being perfect) is as follows; from Closed to Half Stop is a 7 and from Half Stop to fully open is an 8.
The size and quality of this knife would make it an heirloom or the ultimate EDC for someone who values a Traditional Design.
The color of the Stag rich and it has Tons of Gnarly Grain. The Stainless Bolsters are Mirror Polished and have Custom Contouring front and back.
The Stainless Frame has been Mirror Polished and fits so well you have to scrutinize it very closely to reveal it is not Integral.
