Hiroaki Ohta has been hand crafting knives since 1989 and began making Full Time in 1998. His folding knives are prized the world over for their precision and beauty. Hiroaki Ohta’s knives have been featured in the KNIVES Annuals and appeared in BLADE magazine last year.

This is a special Project that will be EXCLUSIVE to The Fort! Hiroaki and I are endeavoring to bring you the Most Affordable Custom Slipjoint that you will find.
In the future, there will be several different handle materials with a Limited to Only 25 of each Handle Material – then we will discontinue this design and start on another.

Hiroaki has brought the Traditional Slip Joint into the 21st Century ~ This knife has no Liners which makes it light weight and comfortable.
Also, the ultra modern Carbon Fiber handle scales add strength while making this classic look modern.
Buttery smooth action, a firm Half Stop and perfect lock up.
For this special knife Hiroaki gave a very Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed finish to the ATS-34 Clip Point Blade.
The spring tension is very nice, rates approx 6 on a scale of 1 -10. The blade is perfectly centered and operates oh so smoothly, no play in any direction.
Full length Spring / Backspacer to maintain strength!
