Hiroaki Ohta has been hand crafting knives since 1989 and began making Full Time in 1998. His folding knives are prized the world over for their precision and beauty. Hiroaki Ohta’s knives have been featured in the KNIVES Annuals and appeared in BLADE magazine last year.

Hiroaki has brought the Traditional Slip Joint into the 21st Century ~ first he started with an ulta modern F-18 Carbon Fiber handle then added a couple of other very unique enhancements.
Buttery smooth action, a firm Half Stop and perfect lock up. For this special knife Hiroaki chose to use some Puzzle Pattern Stainless Damascus which he gave a light bluing to enhance the pattern.
The spring tension is very nice, rates approx 6 on a scale of 1 -10. The blade is perfectly centered and operates oh so smoothly, no play in any direction.
Hiroaki has added some nice Custom Filework to the back of the Spring.
Hiroaki makes his own Leather Pocket Sheaths for every knife, well stitched and holds the knife securely.
