Here is a wonderful Medium sized Hunter/Skinner from Herb ~ with a New Damascus Pattern, great materials and extremely comfortable.  

I hand picked this knife from Herb’s table due to the Full Sized Buffalo Horn handle and the New Pattern of Damascus.  This blade is a Sole Authorship Damascus that has Large Circular Rays expanding out, so Herb calls it his Ray Pattern. 

This New High Contrast Damascus has over 2,500 layers. It has a unqiue Fileworked spine and an amazing blending of rare natural materials. 

The handle is made from a gorgeous Single Large Buffalo Horn, it’s like looking into a Dark Crystal Ball as the polished surface reflects yet draws in the light.  It is expertly contoured with a flare at the butt which fills the hand and makes is extremely comfortable to hold.  

 The handle is flanked by Nickel Silver Spacers and a striking Stabilized Box Elder Burl spacer for color.  The Spine of the knife has full custom Filework that doubles as Thumb Traction areas. 

    The Leather sheath has the Skin of an African Ostrich as the inlay.
