GEORGE HERRON

I recently received several knives from a large Private Herron collection.  There are several gorgeous fixed blades, some collaboration knives and several extremely rare Herron sole authorship folding knives.

George Herron was a true Knife Making Legend, he influenced an industry and personally taught dozens of knife makers in his career.  His style is still as easily recognizable today as it was when he refined it decades ago.

This is a beautiful example of George’s early work, made during his years in Aiken, S.C. ~ this is an uncommon Model 2 Hunter in superb  Antique White Westinghouse Micarta

This knife has an immaculate Mirror Polish on the blade, excellent Silver Solder on the Guard. Rare Non-Tapered Tang, Very early Serial number of 549 (marked on the Butt end of the knife).

A work of art from a Master. This is a knife that will be the pinnacle of any collection.

Knives like this, from one of the old Masters, are rare!   I am sure the new owner will treasure it for years to come.

The Knife comes complete with the Original Leather Sheath and will arrive in a Custom Bill’s Case storage pouch.

This knife is preowned but never used, carried or sharpened.  There may be tiny handling or storage marks but I did not see any.

MINT condition.
