This is Chad Nell’s Latest Framelock Folder design ~ he has made very few of these so far. This knife is a beautiful example of the Hybrid
Chad explained to me that the design was taken from a combination of his Templar Model and his ESG. The Hybrid has the larger size of the ESG with the Pivot, Stop Pin and Finger Slot similar to that of the Templar.
The Custom Hand Ground, Harpoon style Blade is CPM-154 with Chad’s signature Three Copper Inserts in the Flats that are discreetly continued into the Front of the Frame.
The Blade floats open due to the Caged Bearing System and the wonderful balance on the blade. The Lock up is Super Early and Very Secure!
The Custom Anodizing is a Deep Cobalt Blue throughout the knife. The Open Frame Construction with Titanium Standoffs make this a Super Light and comfortable Every Day Carry blade.
The Custom Titanium Pocket Clip allows the knife to ride discreetly out of sight and is set for Tip Up Carry.
