Brian Tighe has been on the “cutting edge” of unique custom folding knives for more than a decade.
This example is the now Discontinued Nirk Tighe that features the popular Klecker lock.
The ergonomics of this big knife are wonderful, a hand full for sure but due to the skeletonized Solid Titanium frame and the uniquely milled/contoured BG-42 steel blade (my favorite blade steel) the knife weighs a mere 4.5 oz.
The Klecker lock provides a very secure Rear Locking mechanism that is unique in the knife industry.
In the picture below you will note the Gap in the frame, the rear pin is what engages the Tang of the Blade to form the Lock. When holding the knife your natural grip actually enhances the locks security.
This knifes super smooth action is due to Brian’s Needle Thrust Bearing system, it can be easily opened using the Flipper mechanism or the unique Hole in the blade.
The Rear of the Titanium Frame is depressed when you want to dis-engage the Klecker Lock.

This knife comes in a Black Zippered pouch with Leather Tag that has Brian’s Logo stamped onto it. A top drawer package than any knife knut would treasure.
