I have been working with Bob and Daniel for over a year to refine this design. We started with the original design and combined that with Bob’s style and knowledge to bring it to market as an Exclusive for Fort Henry Custom Knives

The original design of this knife was created by George W. Sears, more famously known by his Indian/Pen name of Nessmuk.
This knife adds all the features of Bob’s upscale Classic line and provides a proven and unique blade shape in Bob’s legendary 3/16″ thick D2 steel.
This knife is one of a RARE FEW Nessmuk to be marked with Bob’s New St Paul, AR Maker’s Mark
In Bob’s Classic line, the hidden tang is a full one-half inch wide and is completely heat-treated to gain the maximum properties that can be had from the steel. A rectangular slot is machined in the handle to perfectly fit the tang. This eliminates the need to fill up the extra space with epoxy. Then just the necessary amount of epoxy, along with a brass nut secure the handle for a lifetime of hard use.
This knife has a handle of tough Natural Canvas Micarta with a Canvas Micarta/Brass Spacer. The Brass Guard is Silver Soldered so no moisture has access to inside the handle.
The wide Skinning blade is 1 1/8″ wide with a custom swedge near the tip to reduce the forward weight.
The Canvas Micarta Handle has a nice swell and Birds Beak style Butt. This handle will stand up to years of use and with proper care will last a lifetime.
Complete with a custom molded Right Hand Thick Leather Belt Sheath ~ ready for the your next trek into the Wilderness.
