A NEW Fort Henry Knives Exclusive ~ Direct from the Maker 

This design is over 100 years old and the knowledge and skill to produce this version has been fifty years in the making! I have been working with Bob and Daniel for over a year to refine this design.  We started with the original and combined that with Bob’s style and knowledge to bring it to market as an exclusive for Fort Henry Custom Knives.  We will be producing a very limited number of these knives so get one while you can.

The original design of this knife was created by George W. Sears, more famously known by his Indian/Pen name of Nessmuk.  

    This knife adds all the features of Bob’s upscale Classic line and provides a proven and unique blade shape in Bob’s legendary 3/16" thick D2 steel.

In Bob’s Classic line the hidden tang is a full one-half inch wide and is completely heat-treated to gain the maximum properties that can be had from the steel. A rectangular slot is machined in the handle to perfectly fit the tang. This eliminates the need to fill up the extra space with epoxy. Then just the necessary amount of epoxy, along with a brass nut secure the handle for a lifetime of hard use.  The Guard is soldered so no moisture has access to inside the handle.  

 The Presentation Grade Cocoboloa Butt cap on this knife is gorgeous and has lots of rich colored grain.  The wide Skinning blade is 1  1/8" wide with a custom swedge near the tip to reduce the forward weight.  Bob has also added a generous amount of Custom Thumb Ridges to enhance the grip.
