I was very fortunate to begin working with several South African Knife Makers many years ago, I am continually impressed with the Quality of their knives and the value they offer. In my journey as a knife dealer several SA Makers have introduced me to other SA Makers and the list of quality knives that I sell from that country continues to grow.

Andre Thorburn is known World Wide for his precision Flippers. I can say without a doubt that this is one of the finest Gentleman’s Flippers that I have ever offered!
The blade was hand ground from tough N690 Stainless steel which Andre gave a near Flawless Satin Rubbed finish.
The handle is Burgundy Linen Micarta – the handle scales are Precision Fit against the Beautifully Hand Engraved Zirconium Bolsters!
Andre’s Wife does all the Engraving on his knives ~ it is a pleasure to work with such talented folks as Andre and his Wife.
This is one of Andre’s Most Pocket Friendly Gentleman’s Flippers, just a bit of pressure on the flipper mechanism causes the blade to Leap into the Open and Locked Position! Incredible action that will bring a smile to your Face!
