I was very fortunate to begin working with several South African Knife Makers many years ago, I am continually impressed with the Quality of their knives and the value they offer. In my journey as a knife dealer several SA Makers have introduced me to other SA Makers and the list of quality knives that I sell from that country continues to grow.

Andre Thorburn is known World Wide for his precision Flippers. I can say without a doubt that Andre Thorburn knives are some of the finest Flippers that I have ever offered!
The blade was hand ground from tough Vinland Pattern Damasteel which Andre gave a Flawless finish. The handle is Marble Carbon Fiber – the handles fit with precision against the Beautiful Vinland Pattern Damasteel Bolsters
This is the L50 – one of Andre’s Largest Flippers, just a bit of pressure on the flipper mechanism causes the blade to Leap into the Open and Locked Position! Incredible action that will bring a smile to your Face!
Very secure Lock ~ Early Lock up and very secure.
The Integral Thumb Ramp along with the subtle Thumb Ridges (which are continued onto the Ti Frame) make for a very comfortable Full Hand Grip.
This knife also feature Andre’s new Two Dimensional Fileworked and Anodized Ti Liners with a Full Length Black G-10 backspacer.
Complete with a Low Rider Titanium Clip and a Velcro Storage Pouch.
